Elizabeth Wesley HCBS is state agency that provides support services for people with developmental disabilities. Our supports embody a set of home and community based services that are dedicated to offer real solutions aiming to strengthen our members.
Attendant care services are supports for personal care and activities of daily living specific to members with physical or cognitive impairments. These supports may include direct care, hands-on assistance, direction, cueing, and/or supervision.
Habilitative therapy is a type of service that helps an individual with a disability maintain and improve the self-help, socialization and adaptive skills necessary to live successfully in their home and the community.
Respite care is designed to provide short-term relief for primary caregivers. It can be planned for a few hours or a few days at a time. Its primary purpose is to allow caregivers to step away from their duties so they can take a little time for themselves.
If you or a loved one could use our professional support, it might be time to get in touch. One of our HCBS Coordinators will be happy to discuss a service that’s most suitable for you.
